Brown the beef, onion, and Taco Seasoning in a pot. Then drain the grease from the beef.
Add the green chilies and salsa and cook on med-high for a few minutes. Stirring frequently.
Then add the broth and bring to a boil. Once at a boil, add the softened cream cheese in small chunks and bring down to a simmer. Simmer for about 25 minutes or until the cream cheese is nice and melted and only very small pieces remain.
It is now ready to serve, feel free to customize it like adding tortilla strips!
